well, yesterday we went to the Grand Canyon! it was a 14 hour day taking about 5 hours to get there and then 5 hours back. it was pretty amazing..we found out that from this year alone 9 people have died already from slipping over the edge. everytime i would lean over the railing to get a better look i would feel deans hands holding my arms back to the point where i was eventually banned from even leaving the pathway to walk near the rails because i was a "hazard" to myself. so apart from being on a tight leesh it was fun...we imagined all the places that havent even been explored yet and looked at the majestic views. we noticed on the map that each peak had a different name all relating to a temple but all different cultures...like there was a peak called budha temple, then thor temple, then shiva temple..and it went on it was strange. on the way back to vegas we stopped through an american indian gift shop and i wanted to cry i couldnt stand being there everything was sooo amazing i think both of us would have been capable of spending thousands...they had pottery made from horse hair and unique buffalow/ turqoise stone only found in that place out of the entire world and it was beautiful..lots of traditional hide drums and weapons and bags with unbelieveaby soft leather....anyway..today we caught a bus back to LA to continue our journey to perhaps San Diego..everynight in LA is a unique one...the other night John Travolta had a movie premire next week its Twilight and they have these premieres at a place called the Kodak Theatre which is maybe 300 metres from us...its pretty cool..worth being jelous of...so tomorrow we are most likely going to Santa Monica...check out the fair and the pier see what adventures we come accross...
