AMSTERDAM!! For the record, I'm not really in Amsterdam anymore, but have only been able to get onto a computer today. Amsterdam was a brilliant kick-start to our trip...apart from the realisation that I LEFT MY UNUSED INTERRAIL PASS IN BRISTOL AIRPORT!!! After an extremely frustrating pay out of 239 euros (many thanks to the lovely miss Hill and her early tax return), we were able to celebrate the start of our trip. Amsterdam is surreal, we nearly got crushed by the bike traffic on a number of occasions...and the prostitutes in the windows in broad daylight was surreal...overall 1 night and 1 day in Amsterdam was enough for me...we got a night train from the central station at 7pm last night to Hamburg...
