Kinabalu National Park, Malaysia

Managed to summit the mountain. Afetr getting up at 1am, having a breakfast, and then setting of at 2am, we summited at about 5.45am. It was superb, watching the moon go down and the sunrise. I'm sat in my bedroom at my folks place in Spain, with all the creature comforts I could possibly hope for and a stomach full of Paella! However, in four day's time I'll be in a flee bitten hostel in Hong Kong starting a six month journey with about half of that spent in some of the most remote rainforest on earth. What a Laugh! Let the adventure begin!

Caroline Zywczyk Hey Dave, wow just read all your blogs, you are having an absolute blast by the looks of things, when are you going to do some work!! Enjoy every minute of it as you will be back before you know it. All well here, had my mate amanda over from london for the Oyster Festival, we had a blast 12 hours of drinking and partying, took me 3 days to recover!! Be good Caroline
