David road log....
Little update really,
Have had a lot on my mind at oresent and starting to think that this journal as previously mentioned will be a great way of keeping note of why this trip means so much to me and what I wish to achieve from it.
Firslt thing---- I have bought my ticket- it is non refundable so I better go or I loose a grand give or take few pounds...
Second thing---- why is life always there to test/track/challange and in particualrly drive you mad!!
Third thing---- Ipods go missing in Brighton
Fourth thing---- It is the second day of what seems to be an amazing summer.
So the list then, I bought my ticket after loosing my disseretation and wine toruism essay in the depths of a hard-drive and the stress I felt just pushed me that day to go get my savings and get the ticket---get a big positive goal into perspective and then the rest of Uni can plod away with me being dragged in its tracks... It was overwhelming, the decision was there, time to go, time to make it, time to realise that the last 10 years have been nothing but work with fun elements and little time for self discovery or even just that whole thin about being in charge of my destiny, losing dissertation and essay taught me one thing- all the work can dissappear in a flash and if life is this hard job then I don't want to dissappear, I need and crave experience of relaxing, exhilaration and stimuli of all things natural and to discover everyones hidden depths...Leave the rat race leave the rats. The rats I mention, the evil thieves that go in your bag and taker your music, your soul even and then just leave you to discover its gone...time to find new music- make some and even re-write some in the beaches, forests and smiling eyes.
At present I been in the garden sitting enjoying a guidebook of south east asia whils allowing the sun to beat down into my face, giving me a feel for the winter of warmth that is coming my way....
Well it is all for now but thats cause it is 0800 on a saturday and my night is now ready to end... and sleep is a coming.
