Arrived in Cambodia late in the afternoon and found a place to stay in Phnom Penh by the river. First impressions were that it's a lot like Vietnam but the people are much friendlier. Did a bit of sightseeing including the killing fields and the S21 prison, which was all quite horrific, but really interesting. Also checked out the temples at the Royal Palace, which were pretty impressive. After a few days it was off to a place on the coast called Sihanoukville. I originally planned to stay only for a few days but I've fallen in love with the place and I've ended up staying for over a week. There isn't much to do here other than sitting around drinking beer by the beach (it's a hard life!) and the nightlife is pretty good too. But I'm dragging myself off to another small town called Kampot in the next day or two, trying to keep moving as I'm already almost half way through my time in Cambodia and still a lot to do!

Mum Beautiful pic Dave. Sounds like a lovely place. Going to be hard to go back to work again isn't it. Anyway keep on having fun. We'll be back home about 25th. Take care xxxx
