First Week In Melbourne

Had a good first week in Melbourne, got picked up from the airport from my friend Clare & stayed with her for the past week so that was lovely! We've been dining out almost every night, not very back packer but all good! We went away for ANZAC day which was nice, we went for English Tea & Scones to ................... Been watching Aussie Big Brother & am addicted & the Biggest Loser all good!!!!

Whilst Clare has been working, I've been meeting up with my friend Brittany whom I met in Beijing, china so that was good, we went to the Melbourne Olympic Village, thenwent for a tour of the Melbourne Cricket Ground MCG which was actually very interesting even though I have no idea the rules of cricket or how anyone can watch it!

Brittany has now gone to Sydney, so have just been chilling during the day getting aimlessly lost, not sure if i'll enjoy it as much as Sydney but will give it a go! at the weekend, Clare & I just had a lazy Saturday watched a dvd then went to the pub at night, Sunday we went to the Southbank, & there was National Dutch day which was funny people dressing in orange and wearing clogs dancing, then we went to the market then to the Casino & had dinner which was awesome will definately spend a lot of time there if I can work out how to play!

Moved now into a hostel as Clare lived out of City so my next goal will be to try & find a job & an apartment in City - here goes!!!!
