Hello, arrived in Auckland yesterday morning and basically just slept all day and night so feel pretty good now. The flight from Heathrow was delayed for 3 hours but once we got onboard it was a pretty good flight to LA. There, with the typical American fear of every foreigner, we had to go through the whole immigration procedure just to get sent straight back to the plane and carry on to New Zealand.

Anyway, safely in Auckland with a bit of a cold which is a little annoying but still. Weather is odd, could be bright sun and then throw it down for 10 mins and then be sunny again. Nice and warm though. The kiwis are properly friendly and are happy to give advice or lend an umbrella which was particluarly useful earlier. Not done a great deal so far, moved from a single room hostel to a shared dorm now so hopefully going to get to meet some fellow travellers.

I guess that's it for now. Hopefully I will have something a bit more exciting to say next time once I've had chance to look around a bit.
