After a quick 1 hour flight from the Gold Coast and a quick ride in a mini bus we arrivied at our apartment, which is very nice (especially nice as we got upgraded to slightly bigger room!). We quickly dumped our bags and wandered down to the harbour to have a look around and check the place out. We were very impressed with the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, just a shame about the weather. Its not really cold (around 15 degrees) its just raining abit. We then walked down into China Town which is near to our apartment and looked at the restaurants and all the funny little shops there which was very interesting.

Today we wandered back down to the harbour and had a look at the Bridge Climb centre, we're not decided on weather we'll climb the bridge yet due to the weather. We then walked to "Paddy's Markets" (via a sushi takeout), which is a huge indoor market selling everything you can imagine where we bought some lovely souveniers.

This afternoon we are going to walk over to Darling Harbour and see whats over there.

We will update again when we have explored more of Sydney, we have a harbour cruise and sight seeing bus tour lined up in the next week!
