I will try again - still not used to these iPad keys. Tonight should be interesting. A USA-UK cross version of lasagne, while watching the Presidential Debate, with 3 Democrats ranged against 2 Republicans. Here's hoping it all works.

Food recommendation for Monterey.....
Generally – Cannery Row in Monterey (15-20 mins nice path walk north of the wharfs) looked to have much better restaurant options than the ‘central’ Monterey Wharfs 1+2
We had an excellent fish meal on Cannery Row at Fish Hopper. Not the cheapest (but not plush) but amazing fish and great views. The outside does look a little commercial/cheesy but the food wasn’t and the tables settings & atmosphere was more relaxed than many US places. We tried the free cup of Clam Chowder they were serving at the entrance and it was fantastic. It got us in there and we weren’t disappointed. Just a warning for mum, it was a little on the cold side since we were in the ‘outside’ part and it was March(!). It was fully covered and had patio heaters but ‘tent’ sides/roof so they could open this up in the summer – just take a cardy/jumper. Neil's food came with “nut crackers” and something to keep him clean! Mine was fully deboned/deshelled so I didn't have to do DIY! Of course the portions were huge but very tasty with it. Seem to remember good wine too!! We judged this as one of our favourite dinners in the US. I’d recommend it for a fish treat!
Enjoy whereever you end up and say hello to one of our favourite coastlines!
Thanks for the card and pressie. Have had a great day and weekend. Night out with the girls on Fri then N took me to Conwy on Sat - amazing hotel suite (yes a separate lounge and bedroom!) with balcony overlooking the castle and bridge. Walked on the town walls and spent time in Llandudno today. Memories from many (many many) years ago.
Enjoy Zion. If you get desperate then the cafe where we stayed (pioneer lodge) had free wifi if you bought a coffee!! Love H xxx

I am a bit concerned that certain items are not actually in the suitcases as yet, or have you used spare toiletries to demonstrate your prowess in packing for every eventuality and items in photos are in fact stunt doubles, such is the technology behind a certain woman's packing methodology!? Bon voyage, thinking of you xx
