Geneva, Switzerland
Geneva, our last stop before we fly back home. Our journey is almost at an end. The final drive down from Strasbourg took about 5 hours, including another drive over the alps. This one wasn't as spectacular as the first drive from Grenoble to Asti, we were driving in rain and fog for most of the time so we didn't get to see much mountain scenery. So, another trip has come to a close. Ten different countries, 26 cities, 26 hotels, more than 7500km of driving. To ...
Geneva, Switzerland
Finally made it to Geneva at 0630 in the morning (36 hours after leaving Townsville). We were both pretty well exhausted, and we still had a two hour drive to Grenoble. After passing Milan, we headed north towards Switzerla...
Geneva, Switzerland
Sadly, this is the last entry for our travels. In a couple of hours we'll be heading home. Six hour flight to Abu Dhabi, overnight stay, then 14 hours to Sydney - something to look forward to. So, our grand tour. Where did we go? What did we see? Everywhere, everything, and at the same time not enough. Some 7000 kilometers, 9 different countries, numerous hotels, restaurants, museums, etc etc. Seems like we have done everything, but at the some time done no...
