Trish has been so brave today, rode her bike on a gravel road. Having the headset communications makes it good as I can warn her of road conditions but also funny as I hear all her moans and groans when she hits a more difficult patch of road.
Yesterday we went two up on my bike on a longer gravel road to do a 8.2km hike. It was a geological hike with references to different geological eras. We saw a spot which is called a "Golden Spike". This is the first in the southern hemisphere and the only new geological era that has been added to the world time line in 120 years. The brass plaque shows the exact line between the different eras.
After yesterday's long hike today was a more relaxed day, short ride, short walk ( 3km uphill ) to a rock cave and some aboriginal rock art.
Then back to camp and a well earned swim in the Resort pool followed by tea and a red wine. Sigh ! !
Packing up tomorrow morning to head for Broken Hill, but with the possibility that we might stop for a couple of nights in Peterborough then on to Broken Hill. Decisions, decisions ? ?
My exschool teacher wife corrects most of my spelling mistakes. So any thing wrong is her fault.
