Today I speak to you from a rare position. As of current I am indoors, I am warm and I am comfortable. Its a whole new world which I had long since forgotten, and we have been on the road 7 days out of 48, not looking top great. Since picking up the van we have spent 4 nights in Walmart car parks, becoming veterans I feel, 1 night in some haunted woods (we were told free camp site but turned out to just be a car park huntsmen use in the middle of some creepy woods, it was a long night). We did give in to the need for a shower at one point and slept a few nights in a property campsite. It had some truly terrible facilities but to us in our state it was the promised lands.
Today though I am staying in a house. A real house, with heating. What wonders this modern age has produced. Anyhu, enough about lodgings, Virginia is a fine van with adequate accomadation.
Since the last entry we've seen the city of Syracuse and done Niagara falls. Despite all my parents trepiations, we did make it back to new York after sandy, w didn't freeze to death and we didn't die stuck in blizzards or in a wasteland. And yes Niagara was worth the cold mornings and lack of showers. The size is immense and the whole thing is mezmorizing. Not wanting to just be observers we paddeld in the river area and skipped stones on the falls. After going round to the Canadian side niagra got its own ba ck and soaked us at the horseshoe. Still all fun and games.
Well I am off to enjoy some home comforts as a welcoming change.
Much lave all

Dad The joy of a bed, some warm surroundings and home cooking. Enjoy. God, are we proud of you. X
Dad Can we have photo of Virginia's insides? Make sure you go up Trump Tower in Chicago, as it wasn't finished when we were there. The other thing that people said they really enjoyed we're the architecture river tours. Sound bizarre, but they are supposed to be great. Chicago zoo is very big and FREE.
