Well our first stop is Bangkok on Oct 18th, we spent 2 nights there & had a taste of the nitelife & culture. Its an insane city, very dirty, a rats paradise but the nite life is good but 2 days there is enough.
So we caught the 14 hour bus & ferry journey to Koh Samui, a very tiring experience but worth it as Koh Samui is a lovely spot. Its a bit quiet but the niteclub scene is lively but it takes a while to get going, only past 12pm does anything happen, The green mango is a decent spot. A must in Koh samui is Thai Boxing, its an evening well spent.
After a week in Koh samui we decided to head onto Koh Phangan, the full moon party was on soon & we wanted to be there for that. We ended staying 7 nites in Koh Phangan but we were partied out & left on Nov 2nd a few days before the full moon Party. Jimmy was being stalked by an oil tanker, a huge Aussie girl who he had met just wouldnt leave us alone. Her friend simon was good crack so that softened the blow a little but i think our patience had worn thin..though not sure about jimmy, he sure does like em Big.
We then went back to Koh samui for a few days & back to Bangkok, We met a good few people in Thailand but no one really worth keeping in touch with long term. Koh phangan is a good party spot, quality fire shows at nite but its just a bit too nuts, not a lot else to do there apart from party so can get boring during the day. Koh samui is a quieter verison, nice to chill out in & Bangkok is ok for few nites but the rats & smell will put you off. We did meet Freddie a nice Swedish guy in Bangkok & chilled with him for a few days, he headed off to Chiang Mi but he was a good guy! Never got his e-mail which was a pity. Now off to Cambodia, Nov 10th, another bus journey, can wait!!!
