It's been a few days since we last updated this blog. We've been really busy making the most of our time in Alaska. Here's a little catch up of what we've been up to. Today has gone really quickly and has been lots of fun, even though we didn't do a great deal. We went for breakfast/lunch at a place that Billie said was the "best cafe in all of Fairbanks". We both had a cooked breakfast which included reindeer sausages. Although we really enjoyed the food, we couldn't finish it because of the huge American portions. Hi, its Shil - this is my first blog entry, so bare with me! We've just had our first day in Fairbanks so I thought I would write about it. Billie was very helpful and told us where the main roads are, and where the 'downtown' area is, and gave us maps of the bus routes. Fairbanks, Alaska After a very long day of travelling we finally arrived at Billie's Backpackers Hostel in Fairbanks at 1am local time (9am GMT). Our travels so far have gone without a problem. Both flights have been very good and got us to our destinations on time. Seattle airport was lovely. The people there were so friendly and helpful, even the security and boarder guards!
