Well Tasmania, IT was wet, cloudy and full of green hills, alot like England really! It rained 5 out of 7 days unfortunately.
We arrived off the ferry at 7am and the first day was great. We drove to the east then set up camp. When we woke, it was pooring, so much so that we could hardly see infront of us, so we had to drive straight to Hobart to find a hostel.
Hobart was cute. Very English, but with extremely strange locals. We visited the Cadbury Factory and got lots of free chocolates, and we also met up with some Irish friends we met during our wet camping on the East.
When the rain began to fade, we headed back to the East as we really wanted to see the famous 'Wine Glass Bay' (see pic). We hiked a long time for the view, then even more to get to the beach, and then EVEN more to get all the way round to the other side. All in all, we hiked 6hours.And when your not fit.. it hurts!
After here, the rain came back, so we decided to head over to Cradle Mountain. But as you could imagine, through rain clouds there wasnt much to see. From here, we headed west a little then back up to the North before waiting for our ferry back to Melbourne a week later.
