I was hoping this day would never come. Alice and I are currently sitting in the Rome airport waiting for our flight home :( Almost missed check in might I add. We jumped on the wrong bus and it took us the scenic route to the airport. Not what you want when you are time restricted!

Rome is everything I thought it would be. Ancient! Everything seems so old. The colloseum is a true sight. Amazing that a structure that old can still be standing. I was denied entry on our first attempt to get into Vatican City as I had exposed shoulders which was a bit of a headache as we then had to walk pack to the hostel to get changed. Alice was impressed to say the least!!

I am quite sad to think that my wonderful adventure is coming to an end. I have met so many lovely people on the way and seen many incredible sights that I will never forget.

I bid you farewell Europe and I do hope I see you again very soon!
