Quick update before catching the train to Xi'an

Shanghai is AWSOME! Been here for only 2 nights but loved every minute here, even getting soaked through by the rain.

We left Beijing after spending four days there, walked the Great Wall of China and had a beer on the last tower to celebrate. The forbidden city, and the old city which was pretty cool (Dad take note, and look up) and occasionally got lost.

still struggling with chopsticks though, and think i've eaten dog but unsure. plenty of mcdonalds, subways and kfc to keep me going. Standard healthy living.

Got to Shanghai on sleeper train which was alright but being 6ft2" on a little cabin bed was not fun. got another train in a bit so I should be used to it. We to the Soho Bar last night, 100 yuan for all you can drink all night, few people could handle it more than others, my brummie drunken status came out well.

Will keep you posted when im in Xi'an if i can before the river cruz.
