Today and yesterday were our Theme Park Days!!
Universal Studios: Dave and I caught the train to Universal City at 9am in the morning. Super early of course because we wanted to bypass the lines. The park was huge and we started off with the Universal Studios Tour. This included viewing the live, working sets and also old sets from Psycho, Jaws and War of the Worlds. We also got to see the King Kong 4d animation which uses the most high-tech of animation and film techniques today. It was SPECTACULAR!
6 Flags Magic Mountain: we rented a car today to get to 6 Flags - the theme park for rollercoaster nuts. It takes an hour by car and Dave did an amazing job driving there (with Anastasia doing an immaculate job on the navigation). Arriving at the park I (Anastasia) began feeling sick to my stomach. I had never seen rides like these - multiple twists, upside, round and round...and ROUND!! There were some where your feet were dangling, you were face first or you had to stand up. We had the best time!! Unfortunely by about 2:30pm our jelly legs had started to develop, we decided to call it a day and made our way home.

Christina Wilson Hi guys, the studios tour sounds amazing .........you can keep the roller coaster park!!!! Lovely to hear from you today. Your mum and dad rang me on skype this morning. Got me out of a strategic planning meeting for a few minutes!!! All good here. we have a movie night tomorrow night - dinner on your lap and a movie of my course with Daniel and co. Under pressure aboput the movie choice as they are all Gen X! It seems very quiet here in comparison to your travels - love hearing about it. xxx
Christina Wilson Hey guys, thanks for the new photos and the skype session. It was great to catchup. I hope you are really enjoying San Fran - it is supposed to be one of the msot beautiful harbours in the world, up there with Sydney. Fisherman's wharf is a must and I don't know what else. It is Thursday here so we finish up today for Easter and Anzac Day - hurray. Am really looking forward to the break and three of those days at Inverloch. We are thinking we might go to the pub one night and have fish at home another. Weather is looking not bad - 20 -23 by Monday so we might go to Tarwin Lower and have a drink and maybe visit one of the wineries. Leon is heading home to Eskdae and Pip went home to Colin last night with nary a backward glance at either of us!! Shocker dog. Off to a Loire Valley wine tasting tonight at St Judes with Daniel, Sophie and Leon - should be good fun. And then Andrew and Nicole and the kids are coming for an early tea - home made pizza (they love making their own) with the most dreadful combinations on them!!! Have a ball, enjoy it all and travel well xxx Chris
