Day 60- Wednesday 6th Sept
NHD
.
No one was ready to say good bye, surprisingly not even the Agnews had had enough of us, so despite the fact we were sure we'd outstayed our welcome, we decided to stay just one more night.
.
Tim and Fidge had to go to work, Lotte was eager to get to school but Archie was couch ridden with a nasty cough.
.
We did infact need a full day to line up some ducks, or chickens in Olivia's case - she spent the whole day in the chicken coupe or playing with Archie and the yabbies that were surprisingly still alive in the dogs water bowl.
.
The washing machine didn't stop literally all day but the washing would dry between loads so all beds were washed free of ground-in Red dirt and remade and the van got a thorough, much needed spring clean.
.
Re-fuelled & restocked supplies, made a big pot of Spagetti Bol for tea and some to freeze for the van and we were all sorted when everyone came home from their respective jobs.
.
The girls and I went to collect Lotte from school and had a look at her classroom, met her teacher and saw some of her work! Lotte loves school, is a particularly hard working dedicated, all rounded scholar and is a school representative as a result.
.
After dinner of the aforementioned spaghetti bolognese and a bit of forward trip planning, we gave the Agnew's a small gift each as a very small token of our appreciation.
Nothing would really show how much we actually appreciated and loved our time with them but we tried.
The girls had made some cards and letters and we tried our best to show our enormous gratitude to the most fabulous hosts/ tour guides/ future trip planers and friends anyone could ask for. World class hospitality! So much love.
.
Then right before bed of course I had to take the mandatory family photo. You'd wonder why I didn't use Karanjini as the back drop really!!! Anyway the lounge room would have to suffice cause we had to leave in the morning despite the fact that all three girls had us moved to Tom Price forevermore.
Long drawn out goodnights but the Agnew's had to work and we really needed to leave tomorrow.
