Toilet stop at Victoria River Road house I was singing this and a couple of old bloke grey nomads burst into song from the car park for the chorus.

Rice cakes and fuel stop at Timber Creek. 36.5 degrees so we didn't hang round long

More spectacular scenery but we've traded termites mounds for Baobab trees, which Olivia informed us are full of water according to playschool!

You stop to talk to the cattle!

Stopped for quarantine check at the Western Australian border nothing to declare as we had been forewarned to not stock up in Katherine but wait till Kunnanurra.

We gained an hour and a half and apparently it will be dark at 5.15.

500 fairly easy going Kms and we have arrived in Kununurra. Our camping site at Kimberleyland Waterfront holiday park isn't exactly waterfront but we can sit at the van and see Lake Kunanurra and it's so incredibly beautiful. So peaceful, prolific bird life and apparently we can go freshwater croc spotting at dark.

Bit of a stroll along the rivers edge. JD even got the fishing rod out. Spotted a rather large freshy croc (2 metres) right on the waters edge.
