G'Day y'all!
Wow, wow, wow. Having an awesome time in Sydney. It's all you'd expect from a city but with a chilled laid back vibe which I'm finding so great. The kind of place where you can stop and chat to anyone in the street or whilst you're waiting for your rice and pork with vegetables (yum).
It's been a really busy week so I'm spending today chilling out and catching up with washing etc before I move on up the East Coast on Saturday. I've been to Taronga Zoo which was really cool although we didn't get there until early afternoon so missed all of the shows etc. Nonetheless a great time with the opera house and harbour bridge serving as a great backdrop.
Yesterday me and MC (the lady - who is just a mate before you get excited Mr Grant) went to The Bluse Mountains. Pretty impressive day out. We saw wild kangaroos, Wentworth Fall before heading to see the three sisters. Whilst the picture of me pointing at them was taking some woman walked passed and asked if I was fingering the three sisters.....this country!! Also whizzed up the sky tower for an awesome view of the city. I've checked out Paddys market. Tracey from Alberta introduced me to Lululemon clothing and I had to buy myself a vest. You can sweat in it all day and it won't smell - amazing! Had a walk through the China Gardens and also visited the Aquarium with my german friend Zuran!?! I said don't mess with the Zohan and he got my joke. Amazing.....that's two germans I know with a cool sense of humour (Martin :-). I'm heading to the Maritime Museum this afternoon on my tod and then this evening I think I'm going out for a meal with Ian, Guy and there better halves for a meal and perhaps a few beers...rock on!
Hope everyone back home is okay and not too depressed when I tell you that I am in shorts and vest and about to whack some tan lotion on as I go back into the 25c heat outside.
Take care and missing you all!
Dan
