We headed out of Taupo towards River Valley on Easter Sunday. We stopped off to go for a 2 hour walk which most of us decided not to do as we wanted to try and get 9 holes of golf in instead, but the asrehole at the club said all the clubs were hired out which i thought was pretty amazing considering there was no one actually on the course!!! After hanging round for two hours we then carried on driving through and saw Mount Doom for Lord of thr Rings as well as the forbidden pool were Gollom (if thats how you spell it) was in! When we got there we were told we could jump off it so i thought why not! The jump was about 7 metres and the water was absoultely freezing so it probably wasn't the best thing i've done! I have got a pretty good video of it but for some reason my videos won't upload :s
We then stopped off quickly to have a photo next to a giant carrot just for the fun of it i suppose and then carried on to our accomadation at River Valley. At river valley our rooms was basically just one giant bed which we all shared so we needed a few drinks before we headed to bed for the giant spooning session - luckily we arranged it so it went boy, girl, boy, girl in the bed :D We had a few drinking games an then a game of poker which of course I won - I've still got the skills so everyone down the pickle best be ready for me to take there money off them when I get back, i'm gonna need it!!!
