Hopping from state to state as we have done in the last week or so has got us completely lost in time! We have actually managed to hop further into the future and we lost an hour and a half! We are now 11 hours ahead of the U.K which we were not expecting.
Anyway, we slowly made our way down to the Great Ocean Road, stopping at a few choice little towns and cities on the way. Warrnambool was espeicially pleasant (see pics of Gluten free pizza-yum!). The weather was not pleasant and a bitterly cold southerly breeze from the antarctic reminded us of home! Fortunately, by the time we made it down to the amazing sights the weather had brightened up.
Eventually the coast opened up its treasure trove of natural beauties. The whole coast line seems like nature has just been having fun sculpting for the last few hundred years. It is some of the most amazing scenery we have had the pleasure of seeing and that's saying something considering what we have seen.
On one side you would have the rugged coast whilst on the other side, you would have beautiful rainforest and waterfalls. There was no shortage of amazing things to see and do.
Further up the coast we will visit Torquay(?!) and Bells beach, scene of the infamous showdown between Johnny Utah and Bohdi at the end of the movie Point Break. Lets hope it's like death on a stick out there mate...
