Dan "indiana" Jones and the travel adventures
Wow! It has been ages since I last wrote one of these! Sorry guys. I just checked and it wasn't since early august when we left Brisbane. Granted I've put some photos on and stuff but I haven't made much of an effort. I must pull my socks up a bit.
Well loads has happened since then as you can probably tell from the photos. To be honest that's always going to be the best place to check for our progress especially in the "on the road and others" folder as that's where I put most of the photos in unless there is enough to start a new folder.
Soooo what's been happening? Well after Brisbane we went to Oz zoo which was cool. In the crocoseum I acted like a monkey in front of the whole crowd so that Em and I could get a free photo with a baby alligator.
We then went to Noosa which was beautiful before heading up to Hervey bay and Fraser island. For those of you that don't know, Fraser is the worlds largest sand island and it was soooo much fun. We were on a self drive safari and we would camp out under the stars in the evening and wake up in time to see the sun rise.
Then we went Whale watching from Hervey bay which was amazing. I really can't put it in to words, it's better to look at the pics and especially the vids when I get home.
Then comes the boring bit. We worked for the next 6 weeks. Em was picking and planting Zucchinis (corgettes to us English) and I was planting 11000 plum trees. Not single handedly but blooming close to it.
Finally that finished and we ventured up the coast to Airlie beach where we sailed around the whitsundays for a few days. I got a little bit older (25! I'm and old man).
We then went to Tully where we went White water rafting which was awesome fun. It's something I've wanted to do for ages and it was as much fun as I thought it would be. Em loved it too and I have to say she was really brave considering how rough some of the rapids were.
And that's about it! We're currently killing time in Cairns before we go on a 3 day 2 night dive trip on the Great Barrier Reef. Excellent.
We'll then head in to the Outback and to Ayers rock! Keep checking the photos and I'll try to keep a bit more up to date!
Until next time true believers!
