On sat we went on our way to Cape Trib, we stopped off at Daintree River and did some crocodile spotting! Only saw two though so was bit disapointed! but the one of the ones i saw was mhsive, thought it was gunna jump up and eat me! We then for a walk thourgh the rainforest which was alrite but after seeing a few trees it all got bit of the same to me!
We then got on our way again to PKs Jungle Village, checked in and went to our rooms, opened the door and Oh My God it stunk of wee and grott! Lizards on the walls and big spiders waiting for us by the door! room was just three bunk beds simple as! nothing more!!! We took a walk to the shower to freshen up but after one look we both just said nope id rather smell....I know is the rainforest but i was not set out for it!!! we thourght we had to get out of there so we took a walk down the beach which was GORGEOUS!!!!!! we went along with two irish girls we met so was nice!
Back in the camp at night wasnt as bad, purly cos you couldnt see anything. but more people were out from thier slums and we got chatting to few more people. We were meant to stay there for two nights, but we opted to change and come to Port Douglas a day early!
On the way back from Cape Trib we stopped at this place called Mossmon Gorge, its just fresh water coming from the waterfall which big rocks in...it was nice but the water was freezing! Beautiful place to see though!
Got to Port Douglas bout 6ish, showered and got ready to go out for dinner with the two irish girls we met....Had a lovley italian and stunk of garlic alllll night long. After a few drinks in a bar called Iron bar. We went back to the girls room to finish the nite drinking warm Mateus rose wine!!
Me and Emma had a lovely day today just chilling. We went a long to the local sunday market which sold loads of little bits i wanted to buy loads of but stopped myself!!! But on the way back i got pulled in by a shop called 'jay jays' and ended buying myself a new hat, top and bag...but i do 'need' it!
Tonight were just going to chill in as we were hoping to do a trip to the great barrier reef tomoz but its fully booked so were gunna do it on Tuesday when were back in Carins! the on Wednesday were off on the East Coast!!!
God its soo expensive here....ive finally got used to the fact were not using pounds any more but im now calling it euros!! ill get the hang of it soon!!! but tonight for dinner is super noodles and a apple, cos ill be now eating on a budget
