Hola all,
so after our wildlife experience we jumped on another 20 hour bus ride North to the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires (BA).
BA along with Bangkok is definetely are favourite city. The Argentine people and especially the people of BA have a reputation for being very arrogant and vain. It is supposed to have the highest number of people who have plastic surgery in the world, but we found them to be great. They were all very relaxed and friendly, not stuck up at all.
We spent yet another week indulging on the red stuff and yes you guessed it, more mooooo!!! I know we are going on a bit now about these steaks but seriously you have never tasted nothing like it, and with a bottle of vino tinto to wash it all down it makes for the best meal ever.
BA is the birth place of the Tango so whilst here we decided to take in a show. Although it was all in Spanish and we could not understand a word, it has got to be the best (only) Tango show that we have ever seen, it really was amazing. After a week spent relaxing in BA we decided to move upto Iguazu Falls.
Iguazu Falls form the border between Argentina and Brazil and we spent a few days up there taking in the water falls from both the Argentine and Brazillian sides as they both give different views. We only ventured into the Brazilian side during the day because it is supposed to be very unsafe and after some of the stories that we have heard this might well be our only trip into Brazil whilst on are travels. Although the Argentininan side was much better anyway. We experienced the true force of the falls up close with a boat ride we decided to take. It drove us under the falls, and as you?s can imagine we got a wee bit wet to say the least. (see pics)
Next stop Bolivia
