Despite a constantly changing itinery some of the main points have remained constant.Such as Chennai then Mumbai, then Jaipur, Jodhpur and then Delhi. I'm definitely going to Varanasi, probably after Kathmandu. Definitely working with elephants in Chiang Mai, probably doing some farm work near Bangkok, definitely doing Bangkok then probably Singapore, definitely Bali (where I'll be learning open water diving), then Kuala Lumpur, definitely Japan and China (where fingers crossed I'll get to help teach English for a month).
Now, a little wisdom i can give to anyone planning an Asia trip is you only need one visa before arriving, (eg for me it was India), unless you're only staying a little while. With India I would say stay longer to make the cost of the visa (£93ish) more worthwhile. and for a Chinese visa you need evidence of a booked flight and booked hostel, at least if you're getting it in England. I'm just saying this because visas stressed me out majorly! The websites are not fun.
Also helpx is amazing if you want to do short stints of work whilst travelling. Loads of farms want help, and, especially if you're alone, it's good to have some built in company. :)
Also, the buses can be booked like an hour before, even the sleeper buses (at least in India), so no worries, keep a loose plan and just go with the flow XD
And my next post shall be about my journey start! Laters!
