Time to finally leave Egypt.
Met our transfer driver at 10.30am who then took us out to the airport. For whatever reason he treated the drive as a Sunday morning cruise, a bit of a change from the brash overtaking, driving on the wrong side, speeding and near misses that we had become accustomed to.
Got to the airport and pretty standard stuff until one of the security staff attempted to get Dean to bribe him in order to take some glass containers onto the flight. Nothing ended up happening since Dean played stupid and the guard didn't want make a huge deal out of it. Kinda amusing though.
Got back to Heathrow and had to wait for about 1hr to clear customs, before collecting bags and taking the tube back home. Got back around 11.30pm.
Overall a very good trip, we did and saw so much more than would have been possible on our own so was a very good decision to go with a guided tour. Not sure if ill rush back there, but very happy that I went. Loved the temples, pyramids, history and the weather. Didn't like the street sellers, bland food and the toilets.
