Anything by Angels & Airwaves, I'm currently hooked on them if that wasn't clear.
Not the best sleep again last night but better than the previous night so shouldn't grumble really. I got up really quickly & jumped, not literally of course, straight into the shower. When I got out Catherine was awake and instructed me to open my birthday cards which I of course did. I was given a bit of money and even won a whole £2 on a scratch card! I liked them all but my favourite card was from my mate Lloyd, a Godfather card, issuing me to enjoy my Birthday, Capiche? I was planning on enjoying it anyway but now I'm gonna make sure of it, I don't want to get Whacked!
We went down for breakfast and I had my first Italian coffee of the trip which went down rather nicely thank you very much. I also had a bit of fruit and some nice Tuscan meat and cheese, definitely a good start to the day.
It was a quick walk to the highly impressive train station. Impressive in terms of efficiency but also a nice fountain at the front of it. In England, train stations generally are quite bland but why not add a little something extra, give it a bit of character. We boarded the 11:11 train (I see this time so frequently in my day to day life it's unreal). Florence, here we come!
