If a change of scenary is what we wanted, Ranakpur provided it, wow!. This place was set at the foot of some fantastic looking mountain ranges that lead you into Udaipur. This place was very GOA like, green, green green, but hey no rain, yay!! There wasnt a lot to do here though, it was another one of those stop overs, but it was worth it. So we reached Jaisalmer! This particular stop off was going to be for 2 nights. the first was spent 40km just outside of the town at Khuri Town. We arrived at Bikaner with the hope that it might be just a little bit of a step up from Mandawa, oh how we were wrong. Yes it was bigger, more busy and possibly a bit more to do but the stench was unbelievable.
