This week has gone really fast we have moved to three different areas of Laos within a week!! We first got the slow boat to Luang Prabang which took two whole long days with one stop over however the people made it rally funa nd have made some great friends. We then moved on to vang vieng which took 7 hours on a chartered mini bus full of 9 brits and one american. We had a great laugh as we all knew each other from the slow boat. Looking at moutains, bamboo huts and banana tress never gets old. The scenary on this journey was by fatr the best however unfortuantley we never took any photos but others did and they are going to email them to us. We arrived in Vang vieng about 7 pm and we found somewhere to stay pretty much straight away. We went tubing the day after which is one big pub crawl on the river in a rubber tyre. Its amazing and a proper party scence. When we got there we realised how dangerous the whole event actually was as we witnessed a bloke come off a zip line and drop kick a young gurl in the face! Many people have died actually going tubing so if you go just keep your wits about you and stay sober!!! Whilst tubing you get wriiten on with permenant marker and spray paint which is funny. We then carried on drinking when we got back and Ben ended up rather drunk lol. It was rather funny! The day after we ended up hiring mopeds with Jamie and Alice and went off to explore the caves around the city. Amazing! We went in one cave called tiger cave that was awsome. On the way back to the city centre Alice and Jamie came off their bike which was really scary but they were fine and only had to pay 6 quid for the break leaver to be fixed! That evening we decided it was time to leave Vang Vieng and move to Vientene. Ben had read soemwhere that you could Kayak. We looked it to it and roped Jamie and Alice in to coming with upo and it was a good exeperience. We did some rapids on the river and unfortunately Jamie and Alice capsized which again was not a nice experience and really shook Alice up. She continued on like a little solider and we all made it to the end in one piece. Another mode of transport ticked off. It was brilliant!!! We are now in Vientiene and this morning we sorted out our Vietnam visa which was so easy it was kind of scary! We are staying here for another two days and then moving on.
Miss you all so so so so much!! Love you millions write to you soon xxx
