Today i went with the normal group to see some older parts of Beijing. We walked around some real back streets with interesting shops and "food" places. Also saw some hutons(?). This was a very hot day. In fact i should mention here that the weather upto this point has been great. Very hot everyday.

Later in the day we went to a silk market. Just row after row of knock-off stuff. 9 floors of it to be precice. Went back to teliman square after to see chairman mal's preserved body. This was an interesting experince, everyone took it very seriosly. As expected.

Meal with group in the evening. After this went to street market and meet a few american guys along the way. Some not nice smells down here i can tell you. Plus there were raw squids on a stick, scorpions and cockraoches all ready to be bbq'd for you. I did not sample in this delight....
