Melaka was our first point of call after arriving in Malaysia. It's a really pretty colonial town about three hours away from Singapore and made a lovely place to spend two or three days catching up on sleep and finding our feet! We'd had a rather odd night the previous evening staying in Johor Bahru, a city just across the water from Singapore. We're here! After a mammoth journey, (12 hour flight, two bus journeys, two taxi trips and two border crossings!) we managed to get here in one piece not without Dan having a panic attack, nose bleed and stomach ache! What a girl! What we have learnt so far... Malaysia loves Angry Birds, Carlsberg and Special Brew! There is no escape! More tomorrow when we arrive in KL ....
