We were up early for our free breakfast. We knew our last day in Amsterdam would have to include the Anne Frank huis. After studying it when we were younger (I did read most of it) it was something we had to see. It is a very moving place. It is so sad what these people had to go through from the cruelty of 1 man. The house is a lot bigger than we were expecting but I guess pretty cramped when 8 people were hiding there. Will read the book again in the future and no doubt have a greater appreciation for it than when I was 16.
We then wandered around enjoying the beauty of the city. One of the things we love about the city is the cats. They don't really roam the streets but are in most shops and cafes. Food or not it doesn't matter in Amsterdam. Our pub downstairs even has it's own. She sits on the bar and gets plenty of attention and this is normal here. Even the Dutch pets are so laid back.
We stopped at an Internet cafe to print our tickets for Spain. We also booked flights to Malta for a week then on to Pisa in Italy. We will spend a while in Italy bouncing around. Not sure where but prob Tuscany, Florence and Rome. Then we will probably head on to Germany for Christmas. Our first white Xmas. Bbbrrrr!!!

Chrissy Sounds like you guys are having fun!! You should check out Heidelberg in Germany if you can, maybe an hour or two's drive from Frankfurt - it has the most stunning castle and a beautiful little town!! Enjoy the sun in Spain :)
