Lets take this gig global!!
Well good news folks! I've finally managed to put some pictures on this journal!! Only took me 5 weeks to work out how to do it! They should be in the pictures section if its worked correctly. Took me a while as I've got just over a thousand pics already but here are just a few snippits of India and our two days in Singapore. I'll have to do some proper slideshows when I'm back but I warn you it could take a while!! Well just a quick one now, we've moved on from Ho chi Minh and spent yesterday in the little fishing town of Mui Ne on the East coast of Vietnam. Our resort was beautiful but we were a little dissapointed with the beach (following our high standards of Goa!) still sand and palms but alot of debris obviously from emptying the fishing nets each day. Was a pleasant and chilled out place tho. The colour of the shells on the beach are amazing and most look like they must have been painted with every colour of the rainbow sparkling in the sun! The other interesting sight is watching the fishermen in their big coconut boats. They float along in little round things made from bamboo and from a distance just look like migits in hollowed out coconuts!! Due to pressing time we only spent one night there and have arrived in Dalat today further inland in the central highlands. The drive here was an outing in itself with the most varied landscape we have seen so far and stunningly beautiful from caostal roads to huge sand dunes then up the highlands with some of the most spectacular scenery I've seen since the Alps last year. We had a fairly chilled arvo and again our hotel is really nice (the biggest bonus is its mini gym!!) . Being so high its a lot cooler at night here so been making the most of the free internet access and stayed in for most of the evening. Most of the attraction here are outside Dalat so we are going on a day tour tomo so I'll let you know how that goes. The only downside is that during a powernap earlier this arvo some sneaky insect has found itself in my t-shirt and had a field day munching at me!! My right shoulder is pretty itchy right now!! May have to up the malaria at this rate!! Well off to bed now to mossie spray up. I'll update you more tomorrow. Enjoy the pics. Laters Dan
