During the week, Chris and Gary have been taking us on local trips around Cambridgeshire. We spent a delightful day in St. Ives which is a really picturesque little town on the Great River Ouse.
One of the main features of St. Ives is the Chapel that is built right in the middle of the bridge which dates back to around the 15th century. There are only about three or four of these chapel bridges left in England so it is extremely rare.
The white swans looked beautiful alongside the colourful long boats. Also, Kristina if you read this, we had lunch in the Robin Hood pub, | had one of their delicious pie meals.
We also went to Cambridge for the day, enjoying the markets and strolling around the Universities and nearly getting run over by the students on their push bikes.
