Yesterday, we went into London on the train from Huntingdon which took an hour, which is the same as it takes us at home to get to Sydney. We arrived in King's Cross and got the tube to Leicester Square, where we picked up our Theatre tickets to see 'Thriller Live' A Celebration of Michael Jackson. From there, we got back on the tube and we had decided to go to the Victoria and Albert Museum as we thought it might rain.
The museum was very interesting and we moved onto The Royal Albert Hall opposite Hyde Park. From there we walked all the way along South Kensington Road to Knightsbridge and had an enjoyable time walking around in Harrods. I bought a face cloth with Harrods embroidered into it in nice gold thread.
We then headed off to Piccadilly Circus and walked down Pall Mall to Trafalgar Square where they have erected a great big screen showing the FIFA World Cup Football highlights.
As we were now running late, we grabbed a pizza at the Pizza Hut in Piccadilly and then raced off to the theatre.
The show was really fantastic, the dancing was amazing and various singers sang all of Michael Jackson's hits. It was a really good show and was a great way of ending our lovely day out in London.
We got back to Huntingdon around midnight.
