Milly didn't even notice she was on the water. She just took the opportunity to have a snooze.

We tried to go Sarlet but it was very busy and we couldn't get parked. So we settled for La Roque-Gageac on the Dordogne. Have booked a boat trip see later photos. We had lunch at Pizzeria, Rachel had galette, ham and cheese and I had a 3 cheeses pizza. Milly tried lunch too- she approves of ham and goats cheese- yum yum.

To enter the centre we had to cross a bridge over the river. Dale stood to take a picture and I had to pick Milly up- she thought she was going in for a swim- which she did-not enjoy yesterday!! Big baby . Market day very crowded and very hot. Had to carry Milly for fear of her been trampled. Perhaps not the best of choices. Lots of stalls with fruit and veg, cheese and wine. Hats , clothes, jewellery shoes etc. But ridiculously hot and busy - lots of Britis...

It thundered, lightened and just after we got undercover it rained. But we still managed to eat our duck.

Another shot of the town - the main square. The town was full of little shops selling some artisan stuff. We found a glass blower but his wares though beautiful were expensive. Also found a man making marquetry pictures.
