Arrived at Pin Parasol camping site. Had incident on route when we stopped for breakfast, Milly got stung on paw by wasp. Seems better now, I expect it still hurts.

Up and at them this morning - stayed overnight at a quiet services. On the way to Rennes but needed a quick top up of the expensive nectar the car needs to make it go - first of many such stops I suspect.

We are underway. Dog tucked up in caravan below decks with bone and water - fingers crossed . Dale doing his thing on deck - photographing the view. We have checked out the cabin - nice shower and en- suite- not sure who's on the top bunk though, still it's only an afternoon crossing. A group of lads and lasses who seem to be cycling to raise money for RNLI are helping the bar increase it's profits. They are watching the cycling on the tv too.

Good trip, sea calm, nice pastry and coffee. Let's hope dog hasn't recked the van and has kept her legs crossed.

Well were got to portsmouth, stopped overnight at PYO farm. Had trouble finding it as Dale had got the wrong postcode. Fortunately we ended up only 6 miles away from actual site. Sun has come out for us, hopefully this is a good omen. Milly has found were we store all her food, we may need to move it.
