Welcome to my travel blog. I am a teacher in my early fifties (hoping to stay that age) who has travelled 3 times to Nepal now and am totally hooked and in love with the country, the Himalayas and the culture. Having spent time helping in a disadvantaged village school, it totally changed me as a professional and as a person. It is my hope that more Australian teachers step outside their comfort zone and reach out to these people in Nepal - one of the poorest countries in the world BUT the richest in culture and spirituality.
