Day 1:
- Morning - USS Arizona Memorial
This memorial at Pearl Harbor was made in honor of all the people who passed during the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor in World War II. Then take a trip to town to look at the Iolani Palace. Participate in the Chamberlain's tour, where they open up the Chamberlain suite for viewing, where the King and Queen would meet with the Chamberlian and show how the royal household was run. Overall take a look at where the royal family of Hawaii ate, slept, did official business, and basically just lived. - Night - Waikiki Strip
After dinner take a stroll down the Waikiki strip. Lined with fancy stores and live street entertainment. Once a month they close off the whole strip and allow vendors to set up pop-up tents to sell food on the road, they set up stages for performers to showcase their talents, or there are also the regular street performers doing their regular routines in front of the shops.
Day 2:
- Morning- Hike Makapuu Lighthouse trail
Hike the trail up to the Makapuu lighthouse to catch the sunrise on the east side of the island. It is a fairly simple and easy walk and a paved road wrapping around the mountain. At the top, there is a lookout where you can see humpback whales that have just migrated to Hawaii for the winter. - Afternoon and Night- Polynesian Culture Center
From the east, we head up to the north side of the island to participate in the different cultural representations of Polynesia. Oahu is known as the "gathering place", many different cultures come to Oahu and make it their own. On the North Shore, in the little town of Laie, there is a place known as the Polynesian Culture Center where they showcase traditions and activities from these famous islands in the Polynesian triangle. Walkthrough each village and be engulfed by activities and entertained by short presentations put on by each island. Then followed by the presentations, with a package deal, fill your stomachs with an authentic Hawaiian Luau (buffet). After the Luau "Ha: Breath of Life", an award-winning night show is the perfect way to end off a long day.
Day 3
- Morning- Novictor Helicopter tour
Start off the day with a "door on" or "door off" Helicopter ride. The ride is about 45 minutes, with a bird's eye view of all of Oahu's beauty. See all the places you have already been to on the island from the top looking down. - Afternoon - Kualoa Ranch
Kualoa Ranch is filled with all-day activities, hop on the shuttle for a Hollywood Movie Site & Ranch tour, see the place where famous blockbusters were filmed. Walk where Dinosaurs roam in Jurrasic park or run through the grass like where Nick Jonas, Kevin Hart, The Rock, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan adventured in Jumanji. Then after lunch buffet where you can learn about the island and its heritage, get on an ATV or a Horse for a tour of the whole ranch and mountain at your own pace to take a deeper look. - Night- Paradise Cove Luau
Instead of a lunch buffet, enjoy a dinner buffet at Paradise Cove. It is one of Hawaii's most famous Luaus that begins with traditional Hawaiian music, drinks, and festivities. A Hawaiian village scenery is made to help teach Arts and Crafts and to play old Hawaiian games. At this luau, much is taught, learn about the traditions of catching fish and pulling it in together, and the technique of using the underground oven known as the imu. When a very versatile dinner is served a performance of culture is on for entertainment as the sunsets in the background.
