After 2 weeks of writing this blogg and trying to give a day by day account we've come to the decision thats it's far too much like doing homework and its become a chore so from now on we're just going to give short summaries of where we've been and what the best bits we have seen.
The next stop after Ayuttaya was Lop buri, if there is any Idiot Abroad fans reading this then this is the place with the monkeys where Karl visited when he was in Thailand. After watching the show we decided that we must visit this place and it didn't disappoint. It's really strange walking through a town that is the home of a pack of wild monkeys and also pretty awesome. The highlight of the trip was seeing a monkey steal a bottle of apple pop off a girl, sit down with the bottle, open it and start drinking! Lucky I had my camera in to hand and got a picture of it. We went to the monkeys local hangout and fed them corn doing it from the safety of inside the local ruin. As soon as the monkeys outside seen us with the corn they were pouncing on us so we headed into the wat pretty quick. Feeding them was just amazing especially when there were babies to feed, it was magical. In the night the place gets taken over by green flyies so it was pretty hard to walk around the local food stalls and eat the food when its absolutely heaving with these bloody flies. It's not the nicest feeling. With it being such a small town we've not got a lot more to say apart from we visited the local museum which was pretty much the same sort of thing as in Ayutthaya. Were now waiting to catch an overnight 12 hour sleeping train that picks us up at midnight (another 7 hours to go!) The train should be pretty cool next stop is Chang Mai...
