DANNY i SHOULD HAVE WARNED U ABOUT vENICE . It is east to get to St. Mark's &* very tuff to find your way to the hotel .Remember to take something w/ thehotel name & address on it incase u do get lost. We also were lost & survived but venice has no tall buildings to get your bearings, just alleys. Remember the maps that u have. We also stayed on that end of town on the left of the canal going to st mark about three bridges from the train station cause we were dropped off there too. We were next to a church that woke us up when it rang its bells in the morning. I can't wait to hear more.
Danny
Well that last message from Nick gave me a good laugh, glad to hear things are like they always are at home, Nick you know I'll show you up (lol, jk). I don't want yall to think I'm drinking a lot b/c I'm not I've had 2 bottles of wine over the course of a week. Now the sigmachachis and pikes have a bottle to warm up, they're pretty much drunk from noon on. I've found a group that likes to sight see, so that's pretty much who I hang out w/. Jason is our group leader, he's the one who tells us where to meet at certain times for museums and concerts and transportation to cities. The Beethoven Mozart concert was pretty good, read about it in my journal entry. Internet connections are sometimes difficult to find and usually slow so it's hard to organize this thing, so if things are out of what like photos in the wrong album or dates wrong you're gonna have to deal w/ it. Anyways Zurich was fun, very different but at the same time similar to Paris (if that makes any sense). The swiss are a lot nicer than the french. Anyways I'm out later.
Mom & Dad
Danny, Tami said that Zurick would be good for down time cause there isn"t too much there. U didn't say how the concert was -boring or very boring? Is jason with u all the time & who is he? I feel soooo much better hearing from u It made my birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mom & Dad & Nick
Missed you at the birthday party for Mom. We got your postcards, and she was real confused as to where Dad got them cause he threw away the envelope. We had a few margaritas for you at dinner-1 or 2 or 11... same thing. Mom is concerned about you drinking all this wine-dont blame me, I didnt say a thing. Please tell her that you're not doing it, all your friends are, you're just watching. Where are the Zurich pictures, we've never seen anything from Zurich so we wont know if it's true or not...I dont know what we dont know is "true or not" but not the point, mom said it, I typed it. That's confusing I know, but you'll have to blame the margaritas for that. Mom doesn't like the back of my head, dont think I was supposed to type that either, but once again she said it...I type it. I'd charge you $5 for the daisy's we got mom, but once again you showed me up sending postcards from another country, nice job I quit... now you owe me $50 for the F***ing daisies. Be good and we'll see from you soon-Mom's had a few margaritas too, and Dad says the grass needs to be cut so get back here cause I already cut my half, and buffy needs to be fed too.
Love ya man and have fun,
Us
Nick
Hey man, www.thesaurus.com keyword: "amazing". You're gonna have to find some new adjectives cause you're sounding like mamaw saying everything is amazing or in her case the cutest thing I've ever seen. But it sounds like you're having a blast, how was the bus ride? it have AC or did you end up wishin some folks had remembered their deoderant. The pictures look great as well, is there anyway to create photo albums or is it going to continue doing it as a single page cause 2000 pictures might take a while to load...Have fun and remember "Wine and wenches empty men's purses" English Proverb. talk to you later and take care
Mom&dad
Danny Boy, All your pictures are fantastic .U can forget the PittiPalace cause it noway compares to all of Paris which is where my next vacation will be. Take more pics of your group and your professor so we can know everyone. Wewent ot the lake and none of the boats would start. Then dad finally got the jet skis working sun, morning then the boat going sun afternoon cause the kill switch was on. Then we had fun on our toys. But we missed u Nick did your flips off the boat and yes they did look similar to yours .lol(see I can use the computer)
Danny--Now that Mom told you her stories, now I'll rtell you the rest of the story. Master Mechanic Jeff got all the toys working in a short time. Than we went Wake Boarding and I got BIG air. Nick would ski because his foot still hurts. In all we had a good time. Nick's flips were pitiful and some painful.
Have a graet time---Keep the pics coming.
Mom is back in. She says the play on Wed. Aida is fantistic. She saw it at the Fox. Its an Egyptian theme and the musidc will be wonderful even if you can't understand the language. Sounds like a good time to catch up on that sleep.

Actually to get to the middle of the Arc you go on an underground tunnel. If they didn't have that people would be getting smacked like flies. I've taken so many pics, I'm going to have like 2000 by the end of the trip, so thank goodness I brought my laptop. And yes I love the wine and the bread. Bagguettes are .5-3 Euros depending on the type, which is an amazing price for so much bread. And to answer John's question I don't know bout the hair situation, I didn't think bout that until I read the email last night and now it's to late to find out. Well we're off to Zurich on an 8 hr bus trip, and I got about 4 hrs of sleep last night so maybe I can sleep some on the bus. Later

Confess...how risky was it getting to the middle of the road at the Arc de Triomphe for that picture?
Don't you love the bread and wine picnics? One of my favorite memories of Paris. I am jealous. Have tons of fun.
Ana

I've been trying to keep up with the pictures but there are so many, I just kind of look at the ones that seem pretty interesting (and by the way I saw the orange hollister shirt..nice.. haha) I can't believe you're still in France and you have taken THAT many pictures! I just want to know one thing, that maybe you can verify for me via a photo or two or three. They say that the women their don't shave their legs and underarms, true or false? Be waiting for proof by photos!

Danny we're going to lake now and havent heard from u yet. Went to Matty 's grad party today and saw Danny. He looks good, had a fair baseball season and met Matty's girlfriend. She lives in Justin's subdivision and her name is Kelly. I know you dont care about any of this but I feel like I'm supposed to tell you. Went to Glenn's graduation last night, and 500 kids graduated, but we were out in 2 hrs. Chris busted his face w/ a stick when he was breaking it and I told him maybe he's taking your place. Talk to you again Monday night and take more pictures, there weren't enough in the first Paris reel.
Lots of love,
Mom
Nick
Hey, yea, dont run out of memory on your camera danny, its not like you can just move the pictures to your computer...wait, yea you can. Looks like your having a great time man, keep the car shots coming too, those are fun and a nice little surprise when I'm flipping through architecture and suddenly see a Ferrari. Take care and have fun, you can sleep during your week off when you get back.
