We were packed and left early heading towards Genova which meant crossing the border of France and entering ITALY :).
The drive was mainly the views of France from the motorways. It wasn't relaxing and me and Tahlia weren't able to sleep due to Thomas laughing his head off and reserving any expensive cars he would see on the street.
Finally we reached our first destination; Grassé Perfume Factory. Firstly we got a tour, which helped us get a better incite on perfume and how it's made. We also learnt some cool information like; that there is a 'nose' (person) involved in perfume and his/her job is to memorize more than 200 different fragrances. I couldn't even remember the 5 or so that I smelt!
Later that afternoon we drove to Genova, where we were to spend the night at the Novotel. From there we had a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool and ended up having a last minute dinner at the local pizzeria. It was a little soggy though :(.
