Today we returned the boat back at 10am but we could only collect our rental car at 2pm so we had a lot of time to kill. We started off by going to the lock to look at other people coming in and out. When lots of little boats came in we helped some of them with their ropes. We had another walk around but found it quite exhausting because of the heat and had a rest before finally returning to get the taxi to Bezier airport to collect our car.
We drove a few hours to our Provence accommodation. It was a struggle to find the accommodation, even with our "Tom Tom". In the end we had to ask for help. Our accommodation was beautiful and inviting. It had a very inviting pool and garden. The owner Lucie & Felix had a great vegetable garden which they later served up for our dinner.
It was great having a swim in the pool and was very relaxing. In the end we had dinner with the owners Lucille and Felix even though it was only a B&B. They were VERY nice people and we had a 5 course meal which was delicious!!! They baked their our bread from the outside wood oven. I learnt how to make olive dips and how the French Provence were famous for their cheeses. Goat cheese is called Fromage Chevre but Alicia & I liked the Camembert the best.
