Cycling to Thailand

Welcome to Nick, Tom and Nye's travel blog documenting our ride from England to Thailand!

We will cycle from London to Ban Chang using only our bikes as transport and our tent as shelter (more or less).

We are doing this trip mainly for fun and adventure but are also fundraising for a very good cause:

This day care centre in Ban Chang, Thailand was set up by Nick's mum Sue and her business partner Kuhn Porn on a charitable basis to provide preschool facilities for children in order for thier parents to go to work and support thier families. Without pre-school childcare or education, many parents are faced with the choice of leaving young children to fend for themselves or go hungry.

When the Centre opened in April 2009 the 45 places were filled within weeks but Sue has plans to expand in order to meet the growing demand from parents desperate to provide a safe, affordable, educational environment for thier children.
