6-20-12 we are still at the Royal Gorge. I think we have finally lost some of our adrenalin rush from yesterday's zip line and swing ride! We slept like babies last night. We are at the Starlite Campground. Staying here again tonight. They have all kinds of old cars and RV's. Really awesome!!!! We will be making our way back to Houston tomorrow : ( We miss home but it's going to be hard to leave this beautiful place! Going to sleep in perfect weather and waking...

Tue ~ June 19 ~ 1677 mi. We are at the Royal Gorge. We will be here two days. Fixing to ride the zip line and Sky Coaster! (air swing!) I'm excited! We got up this morning and swam in a chilly Colorado stream but it was fun!! Yesterday we drove down a forty mile rocky road to a reservoir. Came across two people that we are pretty sure were higher than a kite but they were entertaining. Also two people who were in a rented jeep and we kept passing them and they w...

Check out this little guy in the picture! He can't be more than 30 minutes old! He was all wobbly and falling down and trying to cross the road. We stopped to take his pic and he just froze and finally got scared and ran back away from the road. We are hoping his Mom was close by. He was so pretty!!! Best pic I got the whole trip. Second best is of Gary. I'll share it in the album...it's hilarious! I think he's becoming a tree hugger lol!!!!

DAY FIVE ~ Silverton, Colorado. Known for its mining. Pretty little town. The mountains Have an unusual orange splash of orange on the side of them from where they have been mined which is very distinct but pretty. Looks like someone came along with a big paint brush and painted on the mountains. Pretty, pretty, pretty!!!!

Day Five ~ 1,435 mi 7:03 pm. Had a great day in Silverton shopping! Yes shopping!!!! Post shows Ridgeway but we are in Ouray... Silly smart IPad. Went in a Mining shaft today, snow inside, really cool ; ) Headed to find our resting spot for the evening. Love ya'll
