Tue ~ June 19 ~ 1677 mi. We are at the Royal Gorge. We will be here two days. Fixing to ride the zip line and Sky Coaster! (air swing!) I'm excited! We got up this morning and swam in a chilly Colorado stream but it was fun!!
Yesterday we drove down a forty mile rocky road to a reservoir. Came across two people that we are pretty sure were higher than a kite but they were entertaining. Also two people who were in a rented jeep and we kept passing them and they were lost and asked us for directions a couple of times even though our plates clearly said Texas lol. The guy was dressed like a park ranger which made it even funnier! I think I'm gonna buy Gary a park ranger outfit next time we vacation!
We met a guy at a camp that gave us an encyclopedia lesson on elk and their habits. It was a little more than we needed to know.
