Pat has had to go home in november due to unforseen events. He is driving home in my mazda. Just outside Alpha Qld he broke the car, litrally melted the aircon compresser seals. Mind you they were the hottest days ever. He sent a SOS to our daughter Khara, to bring parts out to him. I am still in Darwin working.

Khara drove from Gladstone to Alpha then turned right around and went home. Such a big drive in one day. She put more kilometres up on her new car in that one day than in the time she has had the car. Thank you to the caravan park owners and the mechanics for doing all the could to help a stranded traveller.

I love watching motor sports so I went out to the motor park to watch the mud buggy sprints. I had just as much enjoyment watching the kids running along the fence with the buggies getting splashed with mud & water. They were having a ball.
