An early start this morning leaving Bec's and Nick's at 5:20am and the journey has begun. We stopped in Nerrandra for fuel, lunch and a quick trip to the bank and Martin ran into one of the Bright clan, Ricky. So we couldn't leave without a visit with him and Wilfie. Hi all, been fairly quiet for a few days. Just been kicking back at the beach and cruising the sights of Cairns. Had a lovely day today went to Mossman Gorge for a hike. It was too cold in the water for a swim. Then went to Port Douglas. I was in heaven beautiful shops to spend money. Colin had to have a beer at the Courthouse Hotel. Why? cos it was there!! We were up bright and early again (not as early today) and left the caravan park by 7am. We did a quick tour of the town and went and checked out the old port on the Darling River and a couple of other bits and pieces. Wyandra Free stay behind the Primary school tonight, stopped about 4 tonight too many animals on the road. Have meet some wonderful people with much better stories than us believe it or not lol.
